What: PHEDRA Summer School
Where: Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (UNIA) – La Ràbida, Palos de la Frontera (Spain)
When: 25-28 June 2024
The whole team of MICOLL (except for Davide Basaldella, who was at a conference in Lisbon in the very same moment) took part in the Summer School organized in the framework of the Project PHEDRA by Luisa Brunori, Carlos Petit and Ana Belem Fernández Castro in the beautiful location of La Ràbida, next to the exact place from which Cristoforo Colombo set sail to change his fate and that of the entire world.
It was an extraordinary experience: we all learned a lot, met old friends and made new ones. These were the papers of MICOLL’s team:
- David De Concilio: The Ecclesiastical Stance on Just Price in the Thirteenth Century
- Jake Dyble & Stefania Gialdroni: Lexicon and Translation of Commercial Law Sources
- Francesca Fusco: Italian Terms of Commerce in German: The Entries of the MICOLL Glossary
- Daniele Tinterri: The Liber Gazer
You can have a look at the call for papers as well as the very rich final program here (and don’t miss the gallery at the end of this post):
