Short Bio

I am a researcher in Computational Linguistics with a particular interest in Terminology and Natural Language Processing (NLP). I studied Communication Theories and Techniques at the University of Salerno, where I obtained my master’s degree in 2021.

I hold a PhD in Human Sciences, Society, Education, Politics and Communication from the University of Salerno. My doctoral thesis focused on the development of digital linguistic resources for the Green Transition adhering to the FAIR data principles. Currently, I serve as a Subject Expert (Cultore di Materia) for courses in Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Science at the same university.

I have contributed to various research projects, including the PRIN project “VerbACxSS: on analytic verbs, complexity, synthetic verbs, and simplification”. I have also published several scientific articles focusing on my research topics, such as terminology, text readability, and specialized languages.

My research activity primarily targets the analysis of terminological variation and automatic term extraction, as well as the creation of annotated corpora for the legal and administrative domains. I am also actively exploring the application of Large Language Models to specialised terminological tasks.
